Privacy policy
AyaScan is built so that we do not need to know who you are. This page explains what we store, why, and who else is involved.

Who we are
AyaScan is operated by Bruno Kapital & Investment LLC, Baku, Azerbaijan.
Questions, requests and complaints: support@ayascan.com.
Your account is a key, not a profile
Your account is a key made on your phone from 12 words. We never ask for your name, phone number or e-mail.
Our server stores only the public part of the key and the nickname you choose (it is public). The 12 words and the PIN never leave your phone.
If you lose the 12 words, we cannot give the account back: we do not know who owns it.
What we store
Prices and product cards you add: product, price, shop, location rounded to about 100 m, time rounded to the hour, your nickname.
Reports you send: only the reason you picked. There is no free text.
Coupons you used: which coupon and when, so a coupon can be used only once. If the shop enters the bill amount, also the amount and what you saved, so the app can show you your savings.
Shops: coupon packs (size, dates) and how many coupons and offer notifications were used each month.
Payments: amount, currency, status and Stripe's payment reference. No e-mail, no card number.
Gift codes: only a fingerprint of each code and a copy encrypted for your account. Only your phone can show the code again.
Shops: business name, category, address and location. This is public, so customers can find the shop.
Home businesses: no address, and the location is stored only to about 500 metres (the area is public). The pickup point the seller writes in an order is shown only to that customer and is deleted when the order is finished.
Offer notifications (only if you turn them on): the cities you follow. Notifications are silent. When you last opened “New offers” is kept only on your phone.
Orders for pickup: the shop, what you ordered, your note to the shop, the pickup code and the status. No address and no phone number: you pick the order up yourself and pay the shop there. The shop sees your public nickname and how many orders you picked up or did not come for. After 2 missed pickups in 30 days you cannot order for 30 days.
Loyalty cards you add in “My loyalty cards” stay only on your phone. We never receive them.
Shop statistics: daily counts per coupon and shop (views, QR codes shown, stamps). Only numbers — not who. To count a view once per person a day, the server keeps a short list in memory that is cleared every day.
Shops you follow (only if you tap “Follow”): which shops. The shop sees only how many followers it has, not who.
“Interested” (only if you tap it): which coupons you saved. The shop sees only how many people are interested, not who.
Stamp cards: for each shop where you collect stamps, how many you have, how many rewards you got and when the last stamp was added.
Shop products: name, description, price and photo. Photos are re-encoded on our server, which removes camera data such as the location.
Your location
“Near me” for coupons is calculated on your phone. Your location is not sent to us.
When you add a price, its location is rounded to about 100 m before it is sent.
Payments
Card payments are accepted by our payment operator BRUNOKAPITAL PORTAL, Wadi Al Safa 2, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (licence No. 1475606); your card statement shows BRUNOKAPITAL PORTAL.
Coupon packs for shops are paid on Stripe's secure page on our website. Stripe receives your card details and your e-mail (for the receipt) and handles them under its own privacy policy.
We receive only the payment status and the amount.
Automated checks of coupons
Every new coupon is checked by an AI model (Claude, by Anthropic) before it is published. Only the coupon text, the shop name, its category and its country are sent. No customer data is sent.
Products that shops list for pickup are checked the same way, including their photo.
Shop registrations are checked the same way: only the business data is sent (shop name, category, country, city, address and the name of the map place the owner picked). Clear cases are approved or refused automatically, and the shop is told so; unclear cases are decided by a person. A shop refused automatically can ask a person to check once.
If a coupon is not published, the shop sees the reason and that the decision was automated, and can ask a person from AyaScan to review it.
Offer notifications that shops send are checked the same way before they go out.
Customers can report a coupon. After several reports from real customers the coupon is hidden until a person checks it. The shop does not see who reported.
Other services
Product data comes from Open Food Facts and Open Prices, shop places, opening hours and map images from OpenStreetMap, cities from GeoNames, exchange rates from open.er-api.com. Our server makes these requests, so your IP address is not sent to them.
Push notifications are used only if you turn them on. They are delivered by your browser's push service (for example Apple, Google or Mozilla).
Our server sees your IP address to deliver the app and to stop abuse (request limits). We do not store it in our database.
The AyaScan app uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Only our public website (portal.ayascan.com) uses Google Analytics, and only after you tap “Accept” there: it counts visits with cookies (Google Analytics by Google). Change your choice any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the website.
Your rights
You can ask us what we store for your account, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to support@ayascan.com with your nickname. Because we do not know who you are, we may ask you to confirm from the app that the account is yours.
Data we must keep for accounting (payments) is kept as long as the law requires.
